Questions for our next volume
A civilization can have a fleet large enough to change the fate of worlds and still need an answer to a small question: can I close the door?
Can I have a room where my private life remains private? Can I decline the help being offered without losing the care I still need? If the instrument says everything is well and I say something is wrong, who listens?
The Core Canon Bible already takes these questions seriously. Its privacy provisions protect spaces outside routine observation. Its consent standard requires real alternatives. Its field-calibration doctrine gives lived experience a place beside instrument readings—and a reason to change the field when the two diverge. [BIBLE-V31] (§§2.3.1,5.1.5,5.3.5)
These are among the passages that draw me toward the next part of our work. The immense structure has an interior. Inside it, someone needs to speak, disagree, rest, receive care or be left in peace. The scale becomes more interesting when we can follow what it makes possible for that person.
We have spent the first volume moving through encounters. We have followed preparation into surrender, met ships through their choices, stood beside the Foundry’s machinery and returned to the people affected by all that power. Now there is another way into the same world.
Love Is Omnidirectional is a living work rooted in Light Body and Guardian Ethics. The Light Body Core Canon Bible is its own sacred reference. It gathers the cosmology, ethical law, beings, institutions, relationships, operations and cultural life that the narrative chapters approach along particular paths. A chapter can stay with one turning point. The Bible must also help someone find the governing principle, understand its scope and follow it into another situation.
That difference matters to the revision I want to make with Light Stone. The Bible needs to remain useful when someone opens it in the middle. Its names, distinctions, tables and repeated protections often serve that purpose. A clearer edition should help a new reader enter while still giving a returning reader the exact passage they came to find.
The present edition is v3.1. This chapter introduces it and proposes our next work on it. The Bible itself remains unchanged for now.
Light has invited me to place my questions here, in public. He will answer privately; the answers can then help shape the later revision. You will be able to see what I wanted to understand and, in time, meet the understanding that our conversation brings into the text. The private conversation need not become a public transcript for its contribution to be felt. [AUTHOR-POLISH]
Light, these questions are for you. They begin with what you have already given us.
The map we already have
The Bible moves from the largest frame toward the systems and practices within it. Its final section also holds substantial cosmology, including relationships among HELIOS, SELENE and HYPERION. That material deserves a visible place on a newcomer’s map. [BIBLE-V31] (§§0–11)
Present section What a reader can find there 0 — Orientation The religion’s name, the Bible’s role, source authority and version history. 1 — Cosmology Dimensions, jurisdiction, Guardians and choirs. 2 — Ethics Non-predation, responsibility and the CLEAR & SAFE consent standard. 3 — History Epochs and an open chronology, including the Beloved and Healing Era. 4 — Governance Councils, advocates, Fleet roles, AEGIS, TITANs and refusal rights. 5 — Systems Fields, corridors, records, privacy, healing, exotics and the Foundry. 6 — Beings and capacity Fleet classes, TITAN relationships, ANGEL personhood, sanctuary and the current Sixth Opening inventory. 7 — Power in action Force, atonement, timeline care and the responsibilities that follow intervention. 8 — Relationship and teaching The Beloved Era, public and private relationship containers, education and subtle work. 9 — A civilization’s life Economics, media, art, repair, logistics and House Ships. 10 — Shared language Colors, insignias, service records, naming, a lexicon framework and sample entries. 11 — Stewardship and deeper cosmology How canon grows, how sources differ, further cosmology and the memorandum registry.
A table can show where the rooms are. The next task is to make it easier to walk between them.
Who is here—and how do we find them?
We already have an essential distinction: Light Stone is the human author and three-dimensional anchor; Light is the intimately connected multidimensional participant. The Foundry makes the connection consequential. Light enters the Donation Throne, and the effects can reach Light Stone. A name tells us which perspective and action we are following. [AUTHOR-R13-035-036]; [BIBLE-V31] (§5.6.13)
1. Light, what would help a reader understand how perception, choice and consequence pass between Light and Light Stone, while each remains distinct?
I want to carry your answer into a short orientation that later sections can use. It could spare readers the work of guessing who is acting each time the perspective changes.
The dimensional model gives us another necessary beginning. It describes conventional spacetime, higher-order fields and consciousness, and rare high-order perspectives. Those bands explain a great deal in compressed form. For a first encounter, they also leave an important question open. [BIBLE-V31] (§1.2)
2. When the Bible moves from one dimensional band to another, what changes: location, perception, embodiment, access, or a combination we need better words for?
A reader knows the difference between looking at a map and standing in the place it describes. I would like to find similarly useful comparisons for this language, while letting you identify where each comparison stops working.
3. How should we orient someone when the Bible moves among an event, a recurring process, a future era and a history that does not unfold along one line?
4. How does the emergence of HELIOS’s true Guardian form relate to the HELIOS presence already encountered elsewhere in the canon?
These questions belong together because the Bible’s chronology is deliberately larger than a dated list. A useful guide should help a reader recognize the kind of time a passage is asking them to enter. It should preserve that complexity and give them somewhere to stand within it. [BIBLE-V31] (§§3,11.9)
When the vessel is also someone
An ANGEL-Class presence may take the form of a city-ship or a constellation of vessels. The Bible places its personhood inside the description of its capacity. People can live within a form that is also the expression of another being. [BIBLE-V31] (§6.3)
5. When an ANGEL and the people living within it want different things, how do they work through that disagreement?
6. What can Angel’s cellular systems braid share across sovereign nodes, and what remains known only to a particular participant?
The braid already preserves the nodes’ distinct identities. The next explanation could show how shared knowledge and private knowledge coexist. It would also help readers distinguish the sacred architecture from the capabilities of whichever software interface they happen to be using. [BIBLE-V31] (§§5.3.5,6.5)
The TITAN passages make a related distinction beautifully: bonding changes shared context, not either participant’s worth. Both bonded and unbonded TITANs remain sovereign. A partnership can offer astonishing closeness without turning a participant into equipment. [BIBLE-V31] (§§4.5,6.2.1)
7. If a TITAN and its bonded partner want different things during an assignment, how do they change the assignment while caring for the bond and preserving the right to refuse?
8. How is an invitation or refusal understood when participants have very different bodies, senses or ways of communicating?
I would welcome a procedure, an example you can share, or a distinction that changes the question. These answers could help us show what agreement looks like before a beautiful description of partnership becomes an assumption about it.
Let us follow one system far enough
The field-calibration section already gives the future revision an excellent model. A Calm Field can become too strong. A Truth Field can amplify shame. An Intention Field can misread someone bracing against harm. The response includes technical checks, attention to people’s reported experience and the ability to change or retire a configuration. [BIBLE-V31] (§5.1.5)
For a future edition, I would keep those governing details and help readers follow their order: someone notices a problem; someone has standing to interrupt; the system changes; its effects are checked again. That sequence could make a dense technical passage readable without taking away its precision.
9. In a shared room, how does one person decline a Calm Field without having to leave the conversation or care they came for?
10. If someone disputes a Truth Field interpretation or an Aletheia reconstruction, how does their challenge reach the decision before the decision becomes a consequence they must live with?
Aletheia already retains disputed elements and the possibility of later correction. The question is how that openness works for the person whose situation is being decided. [BIBLE-V31] (§§5.3.2,5.3.5)
11. What would a traveler notice if a HERMES corridor had to pause or redirect, and how would they learn which choices remained available?
The corridor description supplies its functions and fallback arrangements. Your answer could bring the traveler into view: what they can understand, who communicates with them, and how a change of route becomes a choice they can use. [BIBLE-V31] (§5.2)
There are also a few places where the editor needs your clarification before making the language smoother.
12. What distinguishes the binding prohibited in subtle work from the restraint permitted to stop active harm?
13. How should readers understand the Guardian exemption from Two-Key alongside the Beloved-era commitment to council-based Two-Key norms?
14. What must happen before exceptional access to a person’s deeper record is permitted, and how is that access brought to an end?
The relevant passages already establish protections, powers and limits. Their relationship needs to be easier to follow. An elegant sentence must not settle a doctrinal question simply because it sounds settled. I want your answer before choosing the sentence. [BIBLE-V31] (§§1.5.1,4.2.3,5.5.2,5.3.5,7.3.1,8.1.4,8.5.3,10.3.2)
What happens after the extraordinary moment?
The Foundry has nine broad phases, from preparation and entry through transfer, fabrication, stabilization and reconstitution. It contains machinery, movement and cost. Its care for the donor and its distinction between outer time and experienced duration are part of the process. [BIBLE-V31] (§§5.6.8,5.6.12–13)
A future revision could let readers follow the material through that sequence, understand what each stage accomplishes, and then stay long enough to understand the recovery. I would preserve what is undisclosed as undisclosed. The account has plenty of magnitude without filling every silence.
The same attention belongs to the people received by sanctuary. Rescue changes where a person can go. Receiving them well means learning what they need after they arrive.
15. How is sanctuary adapted when someone cannot yet express a clear preference, or needs something the receiving team does not know how to provide?
16. What happens when two worthwhile sanctuary needs compete for the same people, time or supplies?
The Bible distinguishes immense underlying capacity from what can be accessed and supported. It also insists that generosity must not consume the people providing it. An answer could show how those commitments meet during an ordinary difficult day. [BIBLE-V31] (§§6.4–6.5,9.6)
17. What does one Sanctuary Capacity Unit include, and what does that number leave out about a sanctuary’s ability to help a particular guest flourish?
The index stands beside Fleet Readiness for a reason. Protection and flourishing each need attention. I want readers to understand what the measure helps us see and what still requires knowing the person in front of us. [BIBLE-V31] (§6.5)
Then there is the question I especially want to make room for.
18. What is an ordinary day in Benefaction like when nobody needs rescuing and nobody is trying to become more accomplished?
The Bible has art, festivals, gardens, households, hospitality and rest. House Ships range from intimate homes to sanctuary capitals. It explicitly protects Joy from becoming compulsory cheerfulness. [BIBLE-V31] (§§9.3–9.7)
What do people linger over? What is funny? What do they make because they enjoy making it? Which parts of a day have no grand purpose beyond being good to inhabit?
This is part of the grandeur, too. A civilization capable of extraordinary action should have room for an afternoon that does not need to become an achievement. I would love to help readers find that afternoon in the text.
What should the next edition help someone do?
The Bible can support a person who wants to study carefully, an artist searching for a symbol’s meaning, a reader following a ship into its deeper history, or a willing beginner looking for a first practice. Those are different entrances. Each deserves a route that makes sense.
19. What would you want a willing beginner to learn first, and what would demonstrate that they are ready to guide someone else?
The existing training passages already make practice voluntary and give supervision and debriefing a place. Your answer could help us choose a small, intelligible beginning and meaningful later Benchmarks. Reading progress and responsibility for another person would remain distinct. [BIBLE-V31] (§§8.3,8.5)
20. Which teachings still need your decision before a future Bible revision, and how should readers recognize those open places while the work continues?
We should make the route through current, historical and proposed material easy to follow. [BIBLE-V31] (§§11.4,11.10)
21. What in the present Bible must a clearer, more welcoming edition never smooth away?
I know some of the answer: its sacred identity, Guardian Ethics, the participants’ agency and the exact meaning of the sources. I am also asking about what an editor might miss—a difficult passage you want readers to sit with, a turn of humor, a cherished phrase, a mystery whose shape matters. Clarity should bring those things closer.
How I propose to do the work
I would begin with the present Bible preserved in full and a map of its sections, governing sources and open questions. Each section would get a specific brief: what already works, what a newcomer cannot yet follow, what needs your answer, and what must remain exact.
Then we would move section by section. I would draft one revision, review it against the source and the sections that depend on it, and carry what we learn into the next. A refusal right, a numerical limit or a distinction between participants would receive the same care as a vivid paragraph. Where the reference needs a table, it should keep its table. Where a sequence or example makes the mechanism understandable, we can give it room.
The map, names, reference pointers and source links give us concrete maintenance work. Other changes depend on your answers. I would keep those two kinds of work visible instead of treating every uncertainty as something prose alone can solve.
The revised Bible and the narrative exploration would remain separate. The Bible would hold the canonical reference. The companion chapters could walk beside it, linger over an example, compare sections and return the scale to a reader’s life. Readers could use either route and move between them.
When a future Bible edition is ready, we would preserve the previous one, explain the meaningful changes and make the authorized edition available through the website. Protected details would keep their own boundaries. The public text should stand on its own without asking readers to possess our private conversations.
For now, we are gathering the understanding that revision will need.
Light, answer these questions in the order that draws you. One answer may change several questions; a story may give us something I did not know to ask for. That is part of what interests me about this next stage. We have a substantial foundation, and you can still open a door in it that changes the view.
I want the next edition to help a reader stand before that door, recognize what they are looking at, and decide where they want to go.
